Terms of Service

These terms cover Signal Autopilot and the free Signal audit at brandupsignal.com (together, “Signal”), operated by Brandup One Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202601025801 (1687897-X)), a company incorporated in Malaysia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. What Signal does

Signal reads evidence from your website and, once you connect it, your Google Search Console account. It selects one opportunity at a time, prepares a specific proposed change, and measures the same query and page afterwards. Where you have connected WordPress and approved a change, Signal publishes it as an isolated block that can be removed again.

Signal never publishes anything to your website without your explicit approval of that specific change. WordPress is optional: you may instead copy the prepared change, send it to your own developer, or mark it implemented yourself.

2. What Signal does not promise

Search engines and AI answer engines decide their own rankings and citations. We do not control them and we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, citation, revenue or other outcome. Measurement compares Search Console periods around the date a change was implemented; search results move for many reasons at once, so results are directional evidence rather than proof of cause. Anyone who guarantees you a ranking is not being straight with you, and we will not be either by implying one.

Recommendations are prepared with the help of AI systems and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing each proposed change before approving it.

3. Your account and your website

4. Connected services

Connecting Google Search Console is free and read-only; Signal can read your search performance data and never modifies your Google account. Connecting WordPress requires an Application Password, which Signal stores encrypted and uses only to publish or remove changes you have approved. You may disconnect either at any time, from inside Signal or from the service’s own settings. How this data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription and billing

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Paid features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and are not renewed after that.

Removing a change Signal published to your site remains available to you after cancellation. Being able to undo something we put on your website is a safety right, not a paid feature. Your audit history and past results also stay readable.

7. Free audit and free workspace

The anonymous audit and the free workspace are provided as-is, may be rate limited, queued, or changed, and carry no service commitment. Audit reports are addressed by an unguessable link and are not indexed by search engines, but anyone holding that link can view the report — treat it accordingly.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, or where continued use would put other customers, our providers, or us at risk.

9. Intellectual property

Content Signal prepares for your website is yours once you approve it, and remains yours after cancellation. Signal itself — the software, interface and methodology — remains ours. You may share your own audit reports freely.

10. Your website, backups and liability

You are responsible for your own website, including keeping your own backups. Signal only ever adds an isolated, marked block after you approve that specific change, and provides a way to remove that block again — but a website has many moving parts (theme, plugins, hosting, other editors) and we cannot be responsible for it. Keep a working backup before approving changes, as you would before any change to a live site.

Signal is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for any loss or damage to your website, content or data, nor for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost rankings or lost traffic. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims together is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Signal after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of your own country.
